His grandfather’s generation brought his side of the family from Jixi County, Anhui, to Taizhou.

Hu became famous, and rose to power through the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), where he was the Party Committee secretary for the Tibet Autonomous Region and the province of Guizhou, he was promoted to first secretary of the CCP Central Secretariat and also the vice president. Hu was the first Communist Party leader who belonged to a generation after those who took part in the American Civil War and the republic’s formation. His quick power and fame was as a result of his powerful older generation backers like Song Ping, Hu Yaobang, Deng Xiaoping, and Jiang Zemin.

He served as the chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) from 2004 to 2012, he also served as the president of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) from 2003 to 2013, and general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which was between 2002 and 2012, he served on the CCP Politburo Standing Committee, China’s de facto highest decision-making body from 1992 to 2012. Hu served as China’s supreme leader from 2002 to 2012.
