Without respect to sport, Emma McKeon of Australia was the most lauded athlete after the conclusion of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The veteran won individual crowns in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, collecting a total of seven medals—four gold, three bronze—in the process. She achieved the feat for the second time in the history of women’s swimming by earning seven medals, making her the first swimmer to reach that number in a single Game.

When asked about her week in Tokyo at the conclusion of the meet, McKeon was embarrassed. Australia had won the 400 medley relay. She was careful to avoid promoting herself, even though she valued the accomplishment she had achieved. In a recent interview with RadioTAB Australia, her coach, Michael Bohl, spoke about his student’s personality.

How Many Hours A Week Does Emma Mckeon Train?

How does that look, though? She often works out four days a week. It includes 6 to 9 distinct two-hour swim sessions of 5 to 6 kilometers, at least 5 of which are challenging sessions, preparing her for the race’s eight-day events. On the topic of aerobic and skill training, three other concourses come together. Along with yoga and a few core exercises, she also works out for an hour in the gym twice a week and does an hour of Pilates. In order to be eligible for the competition, she prepares more carefully for each race. Prior to the large competition, two weeks of swimming shorter distances complement nearly every day of intense training.
