When Edwards was nine years old, his family relocated to Birmingham, England’s Aston district, and when Edwards was thirteen, his father was fatally shot in a London nightclub.
When he was 17, his mother persuaded him to join an MMA club, which helped him escape his lifestyle.
At the time, he was engaged in criminal behavior such as drug trafficking, street fighting, and knife possession along with his social circle.
