Hunter Easton Hayes is a Breaux Bridge, Louisiana-born American country singer and song writer who is perhaps best known for his opening performances in Taylor Swifts “Speak Now World Tour” and from his hit single “Wanted”. Born on 9 September 1991 to Lynette and Leo Hayes who are of Cajun (Louisiana French), Irish and German descent, he is the only child in his family. He started singing and playing his guitar at a young age, in fact being active in the music industry since 2000.

He signed to “Universal Music Publishing Group” as a song writer in 2008, then in 2010 he was signed to Atlantic Records which would become his major label. He released his self-titled debut album in 2011 which received positive reviews from critics; the song “Wanted” became a huge commercial success selling more than 3.5 million copies. His second album “Storyline” released in 2014 was also a major success. These were a strong basis for his net worth.

His presence in the music industry has been rewarded with four Grammy Award nominations for “Best New Artist”, “Best Country Solo Performance” and “Best Country Album”, being the youngest to be nominated in all three categories. In 2012, he won a Country Music Association Award as “New Artist of the Year, and has also won three BMI awards. Billboard labelled him as the “Leader of Country Music’s Youth Revolution”.
