Shatta Wale denied allegations by Ras Mubarak that he received an amount in the region of 2 Million Ghana Cedis to be the ambassador of Exim Bank’s Made in Ghana Project.

The Member of Parliament for kumbungu constituency in the northern region alleged in a Public Account meeting that Shatta alongside Kumawood actor Agya koo were paid the said amount each for ambassadorial deal for the made in Ghana Project. An allegation the Head of Cooperate Affairs at Exim Bank heavily denied.

Talking about the MP’s claim in the studio’s of Hitz FM on Daybreak Hitz program, the artist admitted he was given the role to project the country but didn’t come with money.

He said “ I only want to project made in Ghana goods,things that people don’t want to do is what l want because, l know what lm going to get in pushing my country.”

Speaking about how he convinced Beyonce for a possible trip to Ghana, he added “l want people to know about Ghana. For instance, when l met Beyonce, l told her about Ghana and she told me her mum has been coming here and she will aslo try to come too.
