In their original iteration, The Stooges played raw primitive style rock’n’roll and developed a reputation for his confrontational shows, which often included pop self-harm rice field.

Beginning with the Stooges’ album Raw Power in 1973, he developed a long mutual and personal friendship with David Bowie.
