Ivan Osim, better known as Ivica Osim, born May 6, 1941, was a Bosnian professional footballer and manager.
He was a member of the Yugoslav national team and competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics as a player.
As an assistant coach, Osim earned a bronze medal with Yugoslavia at the 1984 Summer Olympics, and as the head coach of the Yugoslav national team, he led the squad to the quarterfinals of the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
He also managed his native team Eljezniar to the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 1984–85.
Osim was the head coach of the Japan national team until he retired in November 2007 due to a stroke.
He was named head of the interim committee to govern the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the country was suspended from all international competitions on April 18, 2011, according to FIFA.
He was in office until December 13, 2012.

After years of health problems, as a result of his stroke, Osim died in May 2022.
