He was born in Framingham Massachusetts, his father is Edward and his mother is Sherrill Ann Schiff. He was brought up in a Jewish family.
He graduated from Danville’s Monte Vista High school in 1978.
Schiff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Stanford University in 1982. He graduated with distinction.
After the 2020 elections, Adam Schiff said that, Trump’s pressure campaign to change the 2020 election ruined the country, although it woefully failed to accomplish his mission.
Schiff in his opening remarks described Trump’s efforts to stop the counting of the vote on Election Day which included attempting to stop legislatures and governors from certifying the election results.
After those efforts failed, Schiff said the Trump campaign “assembled groups of individuals in major battleground states and got them to be identified as electors. They created fake certificates associated with these fake electors and then transmitted the certificates to Washington, and to the Congress. They were to be counted during the joint session of Congress on January 6th.
