He has 87 tackles, 10 for loss, four interceptions, five pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks, and one blocked punt. Watts was the team leader in interceptions as a rookie and started 12 games in 2017.
Armani Watts was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs during the 124th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In the game against the Denver Broncos in Week 4, he recorded his first career sack. Watts won the championship as the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV.
