Because of his propensity to intentionally run into walls, his grandfather gave him the moniker “Bam Bam” when he was three years old. Over time, his classmates abbreviated it to “Bam.”
Margera was homeschooled by his mother after quitting high school in his junior year, and he eventually earned his GED. Margera started recording skateboarding and trick videos of himself and his pals, and these videos eventually turned into the CKY video series.
He released CKY on his own. Additionally, CKY2K, CKY3, and CKY4 have been published. Margera stopped competing in professional skateboarding competitions in 2022 and received little sponsorship. Three independently produced films on Margera have been written, produced, and viewed.
