The series ran for eight seasons and 153 episodes, from September 17, 2013, to September 16, 2021. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), a detective for the New York City Police Department working in Brooklyn’s 99th Precinct, is at the centre of the comedy, which was co-written by Dan Goor and Michael Schur. Jake constantly disputes with Captain Raymond Holt, a serious and severe boss (Andre Braugher).

Dirk Blocker is Michael Hitchcock, Joel McKinnon Miller is Norm Scully, Melissa Fumero is Amy Santiago, Joe Lo Truglio is Charles Boyle, Chelsea Peretti is Gina Linetti, and Stephanie Beatriz is Rosa Diaz. Terry Crews is Terry Jeffords.

This single-camera comedy was originally picked up by Fox for 13 episodes, but that number was then increased to 22. On September 17, 2013, Brooklyn Nine-Nine made its debut. On May 10, 2018, Fox announced the show’s cancellation after five seasons. The next day, NBC decided to renew it for the sixth season, which began on January 10, 2019. The seventh season officially started in February 2020. The first episode of the eighth and final season’s ten episodes aired on August 12, 2021.

Is Brooklyn 99 leaving Hulu?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has moved around a lot since it made its debut in 2013. The program aired on Fox for its first five seasons before being taken up by NBC for its last three. Users of Hulu could watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a time, but right now NBC is taking the show off of that service and adding it to their own at Peacock.
