Summer House couple Lindsay Hubbard and Carle Radke have called off their engagement.
“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House,” multiple sources told Entertainment Tonight.
Hubbard had her bridal shower at Moxy East Village’s Cathédrale in New York City two weeks ago. Several of Hubbard’s Summer House co-stars like Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, and Samantha Feher attended the bash.
In August 2022, Hubbard, 37, and 38-year-old Radke revealed their engagement to their fans through an array of heartwarming pictures of themselves on Instagram. “YOOOOOOO #AThousandTimesYes,” Radke captioned the post. The proposal took place on the scenic Dune Beach in Southampton, New York,
As soon as news of their breakup hit social media, people started asking if Radke was gay.
Is Carl Radke gay?
Last year, Carl Radke appeared an episode of Watch What Happens Live, to share story of his same-sex hookup.
The 36-year-old said he said that in 2018 that he received “the best” oral sex of his life during a past encounter with a man.
“It was an interesting situation where I was in my young 20s,” Radke said. “I was in a situation where I was hooking up with a girl and there was another guy around who we were friendly with.”
Radke said that at the time of the hookup he and his partner were working with each other on a stage show. “My scene partner and I were having fun after we had a wrap party at the theater in North Hollywood,” he said. “We were smoking and drinking, doing crazy stuff, and I basically had kind of a group hookup.”
Radke said he was “incredibly uncomfortable” at the time of the hookup. He added that this was because he was “very confident” he was straight.
“It really kind of sent me for a loop after a while, so I didn’t really talk about it for a long time,” he said. “And then drunkenly, under the influence, was sharing this with Stephen back in Season 2.”
Radke said he has since “come to grips” with the hookup and is “stronger” for admitting the encounter in public.
