Emily (Aubrey Plaza), in a desperate attempt to make quick money, engages in the illegal activity of dummy shopping and embarks on a perilous journey that will forever alter her life. The intriguing tale “Emily the Criminal” shows how financial stress from student loans can lead to extreme behavior.
