American online producer, YouTuber, and former editor for Markiplier Ethan Mark Nestor-Darling, also known online as CrankGameplays, was also the co-host of the now-defunct Unus Annus channel. He debuted with Mark in “Let’s Play 4-Way Air Hockey IN REAL LIFE!!” and took part in the You’re Welcome tour from 2017 to 2018. Mark Nestor and Annie Darling welcomed Ethan into the world on October 24, 1996 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Ethan’s mother had chosen the name Elissa before having her first scan since she thought her unborn child would be a female. After watching the movie for the first time, his father later adopted Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible as his own name.

Ethan launched his first CrankGameplays channel on August 30, 2012. The day before starting his channel, he filmed his first video, “Dirty Mic and the Boys-Happy Wheels Gameplay Numero Uno,” in which he plays Happy Wheels with his friend Andrew Harrington (who is referred to as Lanky Randman in the video and eventually becomes his online persona).
