Beginning in Los Angeles in March 2021, filming will end in Prague in July of that same year. It is one of the most costly Netflix original movies, with a $200 million production budget.
Originally supposed to star Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron in a gender-flipped role, James Gray was to direct the adaptation of Greaney’s book that was once planned for release in 2011.
