Hunter Moore was born on March 9, 1986 in Woodland, California, United States of America. He is a convicted criminal who was imprisoned for creating a website which allowed its users to post sexual and explicit photos of people with their names and addresses without the knowledge of the people. He described himself as “a professional life ruiner” and was also referred to as “the most hated man on the Internet” by the Rolling Stone.
He also paid a hacker to hack into people’s email accounts to steal their private photos in order to post them on his website, by name Is Anyone Up?. After, his victims find out, and request for their images to be removed, he refused them.
It was until 2012 that the FBI began an investigation on him following a report from a victim’s mother. His site was closed in April 2012 and was later sold to an anti-bullying group.
In November 2015, Hunter Moore was finally convicted of felony and was sentenced to two years and six months in prison, a $2,000 fine and $145.70 in restitution. He finished his jail term in May 2017 and KS currently banned from using Facebook.
