His accusations include operations that stole $14.7 million illegally from a foreign financial institution and scammed a US law firm of around $40 million. Prior to his arrest by the Dubai Police in June 2020 and his extradition to the US, he also planned to steal $124 million from an English football team.
According to rumours, Hushpuppi formerly worked as a second-hand clothing vendor in Lagos and took pleasure in his lowly beginnings.
Hushpuppi’s father is still a cab driver in Lagos, despite the fact that his son has seen wealth, according to a close colleague of his who has gone by the name of Mompha.
