India Ria Amarteifio is a British actress, who was born on September 17, 2001. She started her acting career, as a young child in the movie, the West End. She was also included in the 2023 Variety list of 10 British People to Watch, and Tatler named her a Bright Young Thing.
Amarteifio made her West End debut in 2011 at the Lyceum Theatre in The Lion King as young Nala. Later on, she acted as Hortensia in Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre.
Amarteifio played the alternate Violet Beauregarde in the original 2013 cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. She made her television debut in the same year with the BBC One movie Gangsta Granny.
She was also featured in the Disney Channel series, The Evermoor Chronicles (also known as just Evermoor in some countries) as Lacie Fairburn in 2015, which was a role she played for both series. She also made appearances in the BBC One miniseries The Interceptor and the Doctor Who series 9 episode “The Magician’s Apprentice”.
