Park Ji-min, best known by his stage name Jimin, is a South Korean singer and dancer who was born on October 13, 1995. Jimin made his public debut in 2013 as a member of the Big Hit Entertainment-signed South Korean boy band BTS. Jimin has three solo songs: “Lie” from 2016, “Serendipity” from 2017, and “Filter” from 2020, all of which were released with BTS.
These songs have all been popular on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. The digital song “Promise,” co-written and co-composed by Jimin, served as his first independent single and was released in 2018. In a duet with Ha Sung-Woon, Jimin performed “With You” for the soundtrack of the TvN drama Our Blues, which debuts in 2022.
Jimin missed BTS’ lone performance during the group’s Wings Tour in Macau, China, in 2017 because of neck and shoulder cramps. The following year, while in London for the Love Yourself World Tour, the singer cancelled a recording of an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, citing “severe muscle pain in his neck and back.”
Since 2018, Jimin and his bandmates have lived in Seoul, South Korea’s Hannam-dong neighbourhood. He purchased property there in 2021 for US$5.3 million.
Is Jimin In A Relationship?
Since Jimin has not explicitly said that he is in a relationship with anyone, he is not currently involved in one. Over time, a lot of names have come up. Han Seung-yeon from the band KARA was said to have once been romantically involved with the Korean pop diva. Despite the fact that Jimin hasn’t mentioned it, Han claimed in a portal that Jimin “caught her eye” when they were promoting Mamma Mia.
