Emmett is presently a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s featherweight division (UFC).
He majored in psychology in college with the goal of becoming a police officer, and he graduated from Menlo College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree.
After finishing his academic career, he joined Urijah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness to pursue his passion for combat sports. Emmett is also a skilled Brazilian jiu-jitsu grappler who has won a world championship in the no-gi blue belt class.
Emmett has been a professional wrestler since 2011, and he has also fought for King of the Cage. He is currently ranked #4 in the UFC featherweight rankings as of March 21, 2022.
