Dever started her professional acting career in 2009 when she landed a guest role on the popular television series “Make It or Break It.” She then went on to appear in several other television shows, including “Private Practice,” “Modern Family,” and “Justified.”
In 2011, Dever got her breakthrough role as the lead in the film “Short Term 12.” Her performance in the film was awesome, and she received several award nominations for her work, including an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Female Lead.
