Karamo Karega Brown was born on November 2, 1980, the second day of the month. As an American television host, reality television star, author, actor, and activist, Karamo is well-known throughout the world.

The first gay black male to be cast on a reality show, Brown launched his career in 2004 on the MTV reality series The Real World: Philadelphia. In the Netflix series Queer Eye, he presently plays the role of the culture expert.

Brown was born in Houston, Texas, and has three older sisters. He is of Jamaican and Cuban descent. However, Brown came out as gay at age 15. Brown grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, and graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in 1999.

Is Karamo Brown Gay?

On a 2003 edition of the heterosexual reality dating game program The 5th Wheel, Karamo participated as a contestant. Even though Karamo came out when he was 15, he and another male participant went on a date with three female contestants, and Karamo made no mention of being gay.
