Nicco Annan is an American choreographer, dancer, and actor, he is popular for playing Uncle Clifford in the Starz drama series P-Valley, which is based on the Katori Hall play Pussy Valley, in which he originally played the part.
Annan’s passion for acting started in his teenage years when he started performing in local theater productions. From a young age, he studied improv and theater with the goal of becoming an actor.
He joined a dance group when he was 17 years old, and went further to study theater at State University of New York-Purchase and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts after graduating from Cass Technical High School.
His career started with minor roles in television shows and movies, including “The Deuce” and “Shameless.” However, his big break came in 2020 when he was cast as Uncle Clifford in the Starz drama series “P-Valley.” The show, which premiered in July 2020, follows the lives of strippers working at a fictional Mississippi strip club called The Pynk.
