Foles signed a two-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts on May 23, 2022, After being the third-string quarterback throughout most of the 2021 season, Foles made his first start in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks due to Justin Fields and Andy Dalton dealing with injuries. Foles threw for 250 yards and the game-winning touchdown to Jimmy Graham in the 25–24 win.
