Is Priyam Hazarika Still Alive Or Dead?
Due to difficulties from a blood clot in the main artery to her intestinal system, Priyam Hazarika passed away at the age of 87. On June 5th, she was cremated in a crematorium in the presence of her loved ones.
The following day, a celebration of her life was held in her cherished Ottawa apartment, where she had spent 40 years living alone.
Her in-laws requisitioned traditional Assamese services in Assam, at Nijarapar on the Hazarika family grounds, lasting 11 days, culminating in a Nagara Nama (a drumming and chanting service) on Saturday, June 6.
As soon as the news reached Assam, people flocked to the farmhouse to express their respect and sympathy. Priyam Hazarika is dead.
