Farber won the Australian Youth Latin Championships twice as a teenager and represented Australia at the World Latin Championships.
Sasha Farber also took part in the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics’ closing ceremony and the second season of Australian Dancing with the Stars. Farber was also a founding part of the Broadway cast of Burn the Floor. From 2011 through 2014, Sasha Farber was romantically linked to Emma Slater, another Dancing with the Stars participant.
In December 2015, Farber announced on his Instagram page that he and Slater were resuming their relationship. On October 4, 2016, after they had finished their dance, Farber got down on one knee and got engaged to Slater live on camera during a Dancing with the Stars broadcast.
The two have been married since March 25, 2018.
