Gray played baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores during his time as a student at Vanderbilt University. First overall in the 2011 MLB Draft, the Athletics selected Gray. His Major League Baseball debut occurred in 2013. In 2014, he twice won the American League Pitcher of the Month honor. He was selected in 2015 to be an MLB All-Star. Gray, who had been acquired by the Yankees in 2017, was dealt to the Reds prior to the 2019 season.

 

On the other side, Jon Gray, a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers, was born on November 5, 1991. (MLB). He once belonged to the Colorado Rockies.

Gray played baseball for Eastern Oklahoma State College and the University of Oklahoma. Gray was selected by the Rockies with the third overall pick in the 2013 MLB Draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2015. Gray pitched for the Rockies through the 2021 season before signing with the Rangers as a free agent before the 2022 campaign.
