Israel in his youthful days went to school at Rotorua Boys high school, and after he completed it, he went to Universal College of Learning in Whanganui and graduated with a degree in Computer Design. His full name is Israel Mobolaji Odunayo Oluwafemi Temitayo Owolabi Adesanya but known in the ring as Israel.
Israel has won multiple championships in his time and also made a signing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and won in all three disciplines. Israel is currently the holder of the UFC Middleweight Champion title.
