Jacob deGrom is currently a pitcher for the New York Mets in the National League Baseball in America. Jacob was a student of Stetson University and was playing for the college baseball and it was for the Stetson Hatters before he turned pro.
On the Calvary Christian Academy baseball and basketball team, Jacob played for them and the team was in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Jacob was later chosen to the All-Florida second team where he was a senior by the Florida Sports Writers Association. Jacob was also playing for the American Legion baseball team, and he was able to fight the attention of the Stetson Hatters when he was on the university school team.
