Stonebwoy, who made a name for himself through Dancehall believes credit needs to be given to the Caribbean island nation for introducing the genre.
“The Reality is that Jamaican brought Reggae Dancehall Music, we credit it to them” he said
The Musician made this revelation on DJ 4Ein show and stressed that the genre is in the DNA of Ghanaians because a lot of Jamaicans come from Ghana.
“Thinking about how Ghana has held it down, and it’s not only in Ghana but also among all other African countries. Ghana is actually stronger because if you check in our DNA, Majority of Jamaicans are from Ghana, when l sit down and think about it, it’s just in our DNA but a Jamaican property.”
