On July 29, 2022, Canadian soccer player and coach Jason Di Tullio passed away. Di Tullio played in the young team for CS Rivière des Prairies. In 2002, Di Tullio signed on to play for the Montreal Impact of the USL A-League, then the USL First Division.

On July 17, 2002, he defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps with the game-winning goal, his lone career goal in professional competition. He received the Impact’s Unsung Hero Award for 2002 at the end of his rookie season in 2002. He and the Impact won the league championship in 2004.
At the age of 23, after undergoing his fifth knee surgery in 2004 and missing the entire 2007 season, he decided to retire. Di Tullio was an analyst for the Réseau des sports broadcast team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

DiTullio passed away as a result of brain cancer. Di Tullio was identified as having Stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer with a high mortality rate, last year.
