Javier Fortuna Francisco is his real name. He is a professional Dominican boxer who was known to hold the WBA interim Featherweight title from the year 2012 to the year 2013, and the WBA super Featherweight as well from the year 2015 to the year 2016.
Javier was born on July 15, 1989, in La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Raised in the Dominican Republic, he grew interested in boxing when he usually had to train with his elder brother called Jonathan Alexander Fortuna. In his amateur days, he was part of the Dominican team at the time.
He earned a Pan American silver medal and a gold medal for himself at the National Championship ending his career with a 196-16.
He then began his professional career with a promotion from Lou DiBella’s company DiBella Entertainment.
In the year March 2011. His most popular and prominent win as far as his professional career was concerned was when he took out one Derrick Wilson to win the WBC Youth Intercontinental Featherweight Championship.
