American wide receiver Jayden Reed plays wide receiver for the National Football League’s (NFL) Green Bay Packers. He was a football player for Michigan State and Western Michigan universities.

Reed was an Illinois native who went to Naperville Central High School. Prior to moving to Michigan State University, he played for one season at Western Michigan University, where he had committed. After setting a school record with 1,026 receiving yards as a true freshman in his first season at Michigan State, Reed was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

The next season at Michigan State, Reed maintained his form, recording 62 receptions for 1,098 yards and 10 touchdowns, good enough to earn a berth on the All-Big Ten second team.

Reed had an exceptional showing in his last season at Michigan State, catching 102 passes for 1,323 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was named to the All-Big Ten first team and was unanimously selected to the First Team All-American following this outstanding performance.

The Green Bay Packers selected Reed in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In 2023 and beyond, he is expected to be a key member of the Packers’ offensive lineup. Reed, who is well-known for his versatility, is a dangerous threat both down and in the center of the field thanks to his remarkable speed and quickness. He’s also well-known for his blocking abilities.
