Jazmine Marie Sullivan is a renowned singer and songwriter from the United States of America. R and B, soul, pop and reggae are the music genres she plays.

For her passion for performing arts, she attended the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she earned a vocal music major.

Singing contralto, Jazmine Sullivan began her career in a children’s choir and then later moved to the adult choir. She sang with Stevie Wonder, a very popular singer, at the age of thirteen.

Jazmine Sullivan was born to Don Sullivan, her father and Pam Sullivan, her mother.

Pam Sullivan was a backup singer for the Philadelphia International Records. Pam Sullivan was diagnosed of inflammatory breast cancer in October 2019. Jazmine made her mother’s predicament known to the public on May 11, 2020.

In an Instagram post, Jazmine Sullivan said her mother has taught her to work with something ugly and painful.
