He was known to make his theatrical first appearance in the year 1951.
Jean-Louis Trintignant was seen as one of the most outstanding actors of the post-war era which was one of the starring roles of the post-war era.
He was known to have worked with many prominent auteur directors including Costa-Gavras, Claude Lelouch, Claude Chabrol, and so on among many others.
Jean-Louis Trintignant was said to have risen to prominence at the time of the French New Wave where he made a critical and commercial breakthrough in the movie “And God Created Woman”.
He also won a Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 1968 Berlin International Film Festival where he was applauded for his exciting turn in the movie “A man and a Woman” (1966).
Before his make-up, and at the age of twenty, he was known to move to Paris where he studied drama and made his theatrical debut in the year 1951.
