Jeff Gladney was born on December 12, 1996, in New Boston. He was an American football cornerback who played in the National League.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft. He played in 15 games for Minnesota, recording 81 total tackles, three pass deflections and a forced fumble in his rookie season.

He was born to John Gladney, his father and Jacinda Jefferson, his mother. He has three siblings. At the time of his death, he had a one-year-old son named Kingston Gee Gladney.
