In 1999, when he released “You” as a single, it peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at No. 14. Furthermore, it reached No. 2 on the Billboard R&B list.
Over the course of his career, Jesse Powell put out four studio albums. His gold-certified second album, “Bout It,” was followed by “JP” in 2001 and “Jesse” in 2003.

Not much is known about Tamara except for the fact that she is also a Platinum-selling singer and songwriter and is a member of the American contemporary R&B duo Trina & Tamara from Gary, Indiana. Tamara is often seen performing hand in hand with her younger sister Trina.
