The sort after professional golfer, Niemann’s passion and determination for playing golf made him be recruited by a professional coach, Steve Bradley to play at one of the well recognized academic institutions, the University of South Florida.

Nevertheless, expectations weren’t met since he performed very low in an English test (TOEFL).

Breaking his silence on why he had low scores for the English test, this is what he told Golf Digest.

“I knew I was going to be there for only one year. The school asked me to take the English test. I really didn’t study. I did it fast and finished before anyone else.

I was playing the U.S. Open when I got the results. I was with Claudio Correa. He’s from Chile, too. We were looking at the scores, and we couldn’t stop laughing. He was like, “How are you so stupid?” My score was low, so I couldn’t go to school. Honestly, I was happy. I just wanted to play golf.”

Niemann does not give up on getting better at speaking fluent English, he hired an English-speaking caddie to be of assistance.

He has also remained focused on gaining more wins and achievements in the world of golf play, which adds to his credentials as a professional.

He is currently the highest ranking male golfer gaining 15 scores between April 10, 2022, and May 29, 2022.
