In the adjacent city of Orlando, Florida, Brown attended Montverde Academy, where she contributed to the soccer team’s back-to-back state title victories in 2018–19.
Jody had 32 goals and 9 assists as a junior in 2019. She won the Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Soccer title and the Orlando Sentinel Award for Girls Soccer Player of the Year in the same calendar year.
