He earned the rank of being the World No. 8 in singles and No. 19 in doubles by the Association of Tennis Professionals.
He is considered one of the best servers ever to play on the ATP Tour. As a professional, he has achieved his career-high singles ranking in July 2018 by a supposed virtue of his maiden Masters 1000 crown at the 2018 Miami Open.
History has it with him that, he has reached the quarterfinals twice at the US Open in the years 2011 and 2018.
It helped him to actually qualify for an ATP finals appearance later that very year.
