Jon-Erik Hexum was an American who is a renowned actor and famous model. He gained popularity for his appearance in a lead role in Voyagers! and also in Cover-Up, which was TV series. Hexum was also cast in the supporting role in the biopic of Pat Trammell, titled The Bear.
However, Hexum died in an accident when he self-inflicted blank cartridge gunshot to the head. This incident occurred on the set of the film titled “Cover-Up”.

Born on 05th November 1957, Hexum was just 26 years old in the year 18 October 1984, when he died, unfortunately. He was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. Hexum was of Norwegian descent. Hexum’s nationality is American.
Jon-Erik Hexum graduated from Tenafly High School. After that, he went to study at Case Western Reserve University. Here he enrolled to study biomedical engineering. After, after a while, he got transferred to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. At that time, Hexum was working as a radio disc jockey. He used to play as part of the 1978 Michigan State Spartans football team. Hexum was also seen acting in minor stage roles. Just a few days later, after the graduation, in the year 1980, Hexum moved to New York, because he wanted to pursue acting as a career.
When Hexum used to work in the job role of an apartment cleaner. He met John Travolta’s manager, whose name was Bob LeMond. He belonged to the LeMond/Zetter Management.
