In 2017, he attended Southern Methodist University and played soccer for the Mustangs. On September 15, he scored his first goal against Loyola. He was chosen to the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team as a freshman.
He was awarded to the AAC First Team All-Conference and Third Team All Region in 2018, as well as the AAC All-Academic Team in 2018 and 2019. Due to a ruptured ACL and meniscus, he missed the majority of the 2019 season, as well as the 2020 season, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
