Jonathan Tjarks health: What disease was Jonathan Tjarks battling?
Jonathan Tjarks, and his wife Melissa received the devastating news they had been anticipating at the end of August. Jonathan battled a rare kind of cancer called a BCOR-CCNB3 sarcoma from April 2021 until his death on September 8, 2022.
A report on Jonathan’s condition was included in the statement from Melissa. His physical state, in combination with the particular mutations that were revealed, greatly restricts the prospective therapeutic options as he is paralyzed from the abdomen down by rapidly expanding tumors.
He twitted this:
There’s no easy way to say this. I’ve been diagnosed with cancer. The doctors aren’t entirely sure what kind it is, but they think it is one of two kinds of sarcomas. I’ve already begun chemotherapy. Please keep me, my wife and our one-year old son in your prayers.
