Josh McDaniel played wide receiver for Canton McKinley High School to start his American football career. He later played college football for the John Carroll of John Carroll University.
He started his NFL career in 2001 with the New England Patriots, where he worked for 14 non-consecutive seasons as the offensive coordinator.
