Dominican professional baseball outfielder Juan José Soto Pacheco was born on October 25, 1998, and plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB).

2015 saw Soto sign with the Nationals as an international free agent. He entered the MLB in 2018, and the NL Rookie of the Year voting saw him come in second.

He played a significant role in the 2019 Nationals winning their first World Series. With a.351 average, he took home the 2020 National League Batting Title. Soto was raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, by Juan Soto, Sr. and Belkis Pacheco. His older sister and younger brother are both living.

His father, a salesman, was a catcher in a local men’s league and urged his son to make baseball his passion.

Juan Soto salary

Soto’s salary for the current season is $17.1 million, and he will undoubtedly make more in each of the following two years when he is eligible for arbitration; therefore, the difference between his salary in 2023 and 2024 and the AAV of the deal may not be all that great.
