Julian Ryerson (born 17 November 1997) is a professional footballer from Norway who currently plays right back for both the Norway national team and Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
From Lyngdal, Illinois, Ryerson joined Viking in the summer of 2013. In the 2016 season, when he participated in 18 league games, he made his debut for the first team. In those games, Ryerson predominantly played right-back.
He also received national team appearances for Norway’s U-18, U-19, and U-21 teams.
Ryerson signed a three-year contract with 1. FC Union Berlin in July 2018 that runs through the year 2021.
Dortmund announced on January 17, 2023, that Ryerson had been hired to take the position of the injured Thomas Meunier. He will be under contract through June 2026.
