She received tens of thousands of likes and retweets in May 2020 for a TikTok video in which she mimed and danced in her own ASL remix of Lil Kim’s 1997 hit Crush on You.

Miles is a Bowie State University nursing student. Despite her deafness, her mother remains her strongest supporter. Miles graduated from the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C., before enrolling at the HBCU Bowie State University, where she is also a cheerleader.

Miles was a cheerleader in high school as well. She used to play volleyball but is now a well-known athlete after representing the 4100 women’s track relay team and winning a silver medal at the Deaflympics in Brazil in 2021-2022.
