Kaduna government imposes curfew on Jema?a and Kaura LGAs

The Kaduna state authorities has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Jema’a and Kaura Native Authorities Areas of the state.

The State Commissioner of Inside Safety and House Affairs, Samuel Aruwan made the announcement following the violence that claimed over 15 lives in Kagoro on Sunday night time, March 20.

Interesting to residents of Jema’a and Kaura LGA to company with safety businesses with “the pressing” activity of restoring peace, regulation and order, Aruwan added that the curfew resolution was taken to enable safety businesses to avoid wasting lives and property and restore regulation and order within the areas.

The assertion learn;

“Following recommendation from safety businesses, the Kaduna State Authorities has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema’a and Kaura native authorities areas with rapid impact. That is to help the safety businesses to stabilize the scenario within the areas, save lives and property and allow the restoration of regulation and order.

“A press release from the Ministry of Inside Safety and House Affairs stated that that safety businesses have full authorization to implement the curfew. Authorities appeals to all residents of Jema’a and Kaura native authorities areas to cooperate with the safety businesses within the pressing activity of restoring peace and upholding regulation and order.

“Authorities condemns the violence and all acts of lawlessness which have occurred within the space.

“Additional updates shall be issued as crucial.”
