Following their convincing win over the Chicago Bears in Week 3, the Kansas City Chiefs had more confidence going into Week 4. They were able to maintain their surprisingly effective defensive performance while addressing some early-season offensive difficulties thanks to this victory. The Chiefs kept up their momentum offensively and defense in the first minutes of their away game against the New York Jets.

Isiah Pacheco, the Chiefs’ starting running back, led his team to a decisive touchdown run that gave them an early 10-0 lead at MetLife Stadium. Pacheco demonstrated his prowess by running 48 yards from midfield to the line. Trey Smith made an excellent block that was crucial to this play by pulling to the left and effectively breaking through to the second level, giving Pacheco the chance.

Isiah Pacheco plays running back for the National Football League’s (NFL) Kansas City Chiefs. At Rutgers University, he created a name for himself in college football by setting a record for the most season scrimmage yards for a rookie running back selected in the seventh round. The Chiefs made Pacheco their first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Pacheco secured the Chiefs’ triumph in Super Bowl LVII during his first year with the team. He accumulated 960 scrimmage yards during the regular season (830 rushing yards and 130 receiving yards), scoring 5 touchdowns on the ground. With 597 yards over 29 returns, Pacheco also demonstrated his skill in kickoff returns. Notably, Pacheco took over as the Chiefs’ starting running back in Super Bowl LVII, helping the team beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 with 76 yards and an important touchdown.
