Jacobsen has been dubbed “The Dashboard Diva,” “Gadget Girl,” and “The Dashboard Diva” by ABC News, CBS News, and the Gold Coast Bulletin, respectively.

Jacobsen was President of the National Speakers Association’s New York Chapter in 2015. He performed The Star Spangled Banner on the national conference’s main stage as well as at the NSA Youth Conference in San Diego (2014).

Karen Jacobsen received her A.Mus.A. in piano and graduated with a voice and piano major from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. She also received the Jazz Prize.
